What Causes Nose Pain And Headache After Painting House?
Can painting a room cause nose pain? It s 5 a.m and I can t sleep because my face hurts soo much. We just painted a room and after I finished my nose started hurting. I had a runny nose for about 30 minutes and it went away but the nose pain is still here along with a headache. Could this be caused by being irritated from smelling the paint? Or is it just a coincidence? I feel fine but my nose, eyes, below my eyes and forehead hurt pretty bad. What is this?
This does not look to be just a coincidence. Fresh pain is a combination of so many chemicals. All these chemical cause irritation of the skin and mucosa. This is then causes all the symptoms that you have. I would advise you to immediately come out of the room after opening all the windows that should be open till the chemical effects are gone from that particular room. Take an antihistamine. If the problem persists then consult your doctor to have additional treatment with steroids.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
