What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In Stomach And Bad Smell From Throat?
My stomach burns and sometimes hurts, I avoid just about every acidic foods. I usually take zanta, lanzap etc. There is always a a bad taste/smell coming from my throat . I gargle with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide but to no avail. It is quite embarrasing. HELP!!!!!
Hi. Thanks or your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. Burning in stomach and pain too can be due to acidity related problems, Zanta and Lanzap may help. I would advise you the following in such a situation. Get the PPI like Omeprazole. ANtacid every three hours , particularly when on empty stomach. The bad taste and smell from throat can be coming from the sinuses or infection in the upper respiratory tract and just gargling with baking soda or hydrogen peroxide may not help at all. You need to consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations like CT scan of the sinuses, X-ray of the chest and so on for the proper diagnosis and may be a course of an antibiotic and decongestants as per the findings.
