What Causes Pain In Mons Pubis After Sex?

Hi, my mons pubis area is painful to the touch after sex. Feels like it is bruised, but there is no visual signs. I have no stds and the pain lasts for a couple of weeks after sex. What might be the reason? Oh, I am female and my current sexual partner is female as well.

It can be due to erosion of the skin and hypersensitivity. Sometimes it can also be due to herpetic infection.
So better to visit a gynecologist for the local examination and treatment according to diagnosis.
