What Causes Persistent Ear Clogging?
clogged ears after an episode of pharyngitis? I am 26 yr female, and never used to have problems with my ears, but for the past 1 1/2 years, everytime I get a cold, or pharyngitis, my ears get clogged and I feel dizzy. I had,had a bad sorethroat with a lot of drainage the past 2 days, with no nasal congestion/or cold symptoms, yet my ears feel "full". Is this normal with a sore throat and no cold like symptoms such as nasal congestion/runny nose/sneezing?

hello, thanks for ur query, ear is connect by nose by et ( eusthacian tube) , whenever this tube blocked ( cold, flu, sinusitis, allergy) u feel ear block sensation, u can start decongestant tab. xyzal- d ( levocitrizine+ pseudoephidrine) one tab ya bed time for7 days, xylometazoline nasal drops 3 drops/ 3 time/1 week. valsalva manoere ( watch utube ) , chew chewing gum can be tried ,all d best. take care.
