Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...My husband (51) was diagnosed on 1/24/11 with Pigmentary Glaucoma. On 2/1/11, his pressure has come down from 38 to 12 being on Combigan & Xalatan 8 days. His vision actually got some better in the right eye. We were told today that he could still go blind in that eye even if IOP is down. We have always eaten quite a healthy diet(no junk food/soda), but would other changes in our diet be of help? Nutrients for the Optic nerve/capillaries? Also, his pupils are unequal. Smaller in the affected eye. Our Dr. said that usually happens in the advanced stages of glaucoma, but he never really said much more. He works on computers, electronic boards & drawings. Are these intense focusing activities causing some problems? He is a Type A personality. He drives himself to the extreme in everything he does. Should he look for other work to steer away from this problem?
