What Causes Profuse Sweating?
I have been living in Taiwan for the past five years and I have had difficulties adjusting to the hot, humid climate. I have experienced profuse sweating, especially on my face and back, which I never had before in the States. Even though the weather is cooler now, I still breakout in sweats frequently:often when I go to bed, always just as I awake in the morning and frequently throughout the day.Air conditioning often creates such an attacks as well. I am well through my menopausal years. Any ideas?

The symptoms of unexplained sweating and hot flushes that you are experiencing are menopausal symptoms.This occurs due to the hormonal deficiency like estrogen and progesterone in this age group.
This symptoms will subside on its own.If its worrisome too much,then you can go for hormonal replacement therapy after consulting your gynecologist.
