I'm a 65 year old female working in healthcare with controlled high blood pressure (3 yrs) and controlled LDL via recent statin use (6 months) Loud ringing in ears/head started 2 weeks ago with an upper respiratory infection. Most symptoms have subsided except for stuffy ears, some coughing along with a high pitched ringing/buzzing which is constant. if it was present before this it was barely perceptable Saw ENT, earwax removed from one ear ( he said needed a microscope because of build up in one ear, manually removed "a little" from other one.) Auditory testing came back with "severe" high pitched hearing loss and now they recommend hearing aids saying "it may help." Am severely impacted by the noises and if not finding relief don't know what to do. . My anxiety is through the roof. Can you give me some advice? I'll try anything to get relief
