Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Slight Burning In My Anal While Sitting?
I've had anal discomfort for over 4 months. A colonoscopy revealed nothing (no hemmorhoids or any other issue). Took a drug for ringworm but that didn't help. My discomfort is primarily when I go to sit down. There can be some slight burning. While not painful, it is chronic and very bothersome. Please help!
Thank you for asking! If there is burning while sitting on the toilet that can be due to consistency of stools in constipation or a fissure or tag. Any how it would need an examination and a look at the anal area to sort out for sure what it is. You should seek a gastroenterologist or a General surgeon to help.Keep soft diet and apply topical antibiotics etc for the relief. take care
