What Causes Sore Tongue While Having High Cholesterol, Hypothyroid And Anemia?
I have raised cholesterol levels, hypothyroid, pernicious anemia and chronic kidney disease . i have had a sore mouth, throat and neck for a year. My tongue is permanently sore. is it connected to one of my conditions? I am permanently tired and out of breath with the slightest exertion ie walking up stairs i have to rest half way up. I take 50 mg levothyroxine per day and have B12 injectons every 3 months but I am swollen in my face, hands, legs and stomach and have put on a stone in weight. My urine output has fallen drastically.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The tongue soreness can be related to anemia. It can also be related to vitamin B12 deficiency. I suggest to drink liquids and stay hydrated. I also recommend to continue the vitamin B12 shots as prescribed by your doctor.
