Hollow sound in head on left side when clenching teeth. I also have tinnitus and tmj.
The tinnitus started suddenly 5 months ago. I had been going to a chiropractor for a year. he cracked my neck frequently. Can this be the end result of him doing that?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of tinnitus in ears which isn't a condition itself but it's a symptom of an underlying condition, such as age-related hearing loss, ear injury, temporomandibular dysfunction or a circulatory system disorder. Stress and anxiety can also cause tinnitus and headaches. Need not to worry. You should avoid touching or pricking ear. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and to find out exact cause. Doctor may order certain tests like audiological test , rushing test, high and low pitched test. Doctor may prescribe tricyclic antidepressants , alprazolam and devices like hearing aids and masking devices .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
