What Causes Trembling Of Hands And Urinary Incontinence?
HI,doctor i am nirmal age 76 yrs bp150/90.ct scan report say...LACUNAR INFRACTIONS INVOLVING LEFT BASAL GANGLIA AND PARAVENTICULAR REGION WIH AGE RELATED CEREBRAL ATROPY.HEIGHT-170CM.WT.-51KG. SYMPTOM -TREMBLING OF HAND -URGENCY IN URINATION AN STOOL -WEAKNESS IN MEMORY
Hi, Trembling of hands can be due to various reasons. Even fatigue can cause trembling. Usually in old age, it is due to conditions such as Essential Tremors (which are not secondary to any other illness and can be treated with medicines such as beta blockers), Parkinsonism (which can be due to primary degenerative disorder such as Parkinson's disease or other factors such as medicines), etc. Urgency of urination and urinary incontinence may be due to a local structural problem of urethra or secondary to infarcts in brain or degenerative disorder of brain. Given that you have these two symptoms along with weakness of memory, you should go to a neurologist or a psychiatrist who will evaluate you, suggest a urology consultation if needed and prescribe necessary medicines. You should not worry about what is said in the CT Scan report. Clinical problems are important and a doctor will be able to help you with these. I hope this answers your question.
