Hi isee that you are in 7th month of pregnancy and recently detected gdm on insulin. I do not think you have worry too much if you are feeling less kicks one time.baby also sleeps for long time .observe after3 hrs your meal in leftlateral posture. If still slow please visit your doctor who will take a scan to rule out pathology do a dopller study to check blood supply to the baby is ok.possibly follow you up after 2 weeks for a nst test.yes sugar high as well low will affect the baby movements as it is the energy source.rapid changes can cause change in acid base electrolytes ketone bodies and affect the heart rate of the baby. So get your sugar under controle with your diabetologist help. Take advice on diet and exercise as well.
