Hi,

Shadows can mean many things on CT scan. In CT scan, X rays of high intensity are passed through the patient and then focused on the detector. Then the X rays are made into an image using a computer based on the passage through different structures in the body. It will help of you can share the report details with us so that we know exactly what the problem is and why he has been scheduled to get a MRI scan. I understand your concern but the precise details of the problem should be known to discuss in detail.
