What Could Lower Back Images In MRI Report Suggest?
Hi there i recently had an MRI done as i have a pain in my lower back for about 8 months now. The MRI refers to three images as: Pos DISP: [2] T2 Sag TSE ; Pos DISP: [3] T2 Sag TSE AND Pos DISP: [4] T2 Sag TSE. I am wondering what this means? Thanks Marie
MRI lower back creates a series of images. You might be seeing just 3 images and the details mentioned by you are completely technical with not much diagnostic importance.
Pos DISP T2 Sag TSE means position display on T2 sequence in sagittal plane which is one of the directions in which images are acquired in MRI of lower back.
