Hi, I have caught a kind of acne. It is really strange. Red dots appear on my arms and upper body in the evening for a short time and then disappear; Today is the second day. A friend of mine is facing this problem since last 4 months here. I dont know what has caused this problem, neither does he.
As per your query you have symptoms of red dots on arms and upper body which is a common skin condition in which hair follicles become inflamed which is usually caused by a bacterial or fungal infection leading to folliculitis.
I would suggest you to keep that area dry , wear loose clothes. You should apply a warm, moist washcloth or compress and apply soothing lotions. You should gently wash the infected skin twice a day with antibacterial soap. Take diet rich in fluids. Consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or anti-fungal medicine.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
