What Do You Recommend For Polyp In Colon Attached To Appendix?
I had a colonoscopy about a week ago. They found a polyp in my colon that could not be removed because it is attached to my appendix. I met with the surgeon today and was informed that it may be a simple procedure of removing my appendix and a small part of the colon, but it could be a bit more complicated than that. He mentioned he may have to remove more of the colon if the polyp is bigger than expected. The polyp was tested and it is benign. What are your recommendations? PS I just had abdominal plasty 1 1/2 year ago and do not want to mess up what the plastic surgeon has done. My results were awesome!
