What Does IGA Positive IGM Negative IGG Negative Indicate?
Good Morning a year ago I have been diagnosed with chlamydia (treated with doxycycline) last week I had a blood test came back IGA positive IGM negative IGG negative is it possible? Shouldn't it be IGG positive (antibodies) and IGA negative I am confused. Thank you

Your infection is treated. Ig A is secretory antibodies against pathogen, it is usually seen even after successful treatment. Important is Ig M, if Ig M is positive than you have active infection. so dont worry. Thnx
