hi, my bp is 140/90 and my report is as follows;GFR=90,Fasting plasma glucose=147.7,total cholestral=229.1,triglycerides=413.2,HDL=35,LDL=127.7,VLDL=82.6CHOL/HDL ratio=6.5 vitaminD=10.79,HbA1c=7.8,the medication advised is as follows;lodoz5,tonact-TG,Metadoze-IPR AND S-NUMLO.KINDLY LET ME KNOW what changes are to be expected after a duration of 3 months.and how can i get optimum benefit with these medicines.apart from this what dietary precautions should be taken?

Hi From your reports it appears that your lipid profile is deranged, also your sugars are high. HbA1c indicates that your diabetes is poor controlled. GFR is normal, so not to worry. With medications and lifestyle changes, your fasting glucose should come to normal range. Also the cholesterol should decrease and HbA1c should be less than 6. Regards
