I need some help please. I had unprotected sex 7.5 weeks ago. I started feeling a little under the weather a fewweeks after. I straight away went and had a HIV blood test at a local clinic. Came back negative after 31days. Too soon i know, but i also took a rapid HIV 1/2 blood finger test at 37days and 51 days after possible exposure. Both negative. I had another HIV blood test at the clinic next week but im really scared of the results. I had a Throat Culture swab taken at 47 days and came back with a result of mixed oral flora Im just freaking out so much is driving me insane. I just dont feel normal.
Nothing to be worried about. Mixed oral flora might indicate possible imbalance of oral flora. It is not worrisome, but I need to analyze the report myself before saying that there exist a pathogenic flora.
Having pathogenic flora does not necessarily mean you have HIV or other serious disease. Fungal infection are common together with pathogenic bacteria.
Please bare in mind that there is a normal microbiotic flora in the mouth in order to run its normal functions. When their balance is broken due to various factors, some non-pathogenic microbes become pathogenic, causing problems.
