I had an MRI of the brain and cervical spine done. The results were this.. Brain: There are a few tiny foci of increased signal intensity in the periventricular white matter bilaterally of uncertain significance. Cervical spine: There is a reversal of the normal cervical lordosis - No significant abnormalities seen on MRI of the cervical spine in the presence of underlying muscular spasms. - What does this mean exactly, should I be worried and what can I do about it if so?
Your MRI brain report reveals hyperintense lesion in bilateral periventricular region aafecting white matter , 2 possibility to be considered either small vessel disease producing ischemia ,other is demyelinating. For further confirmation you need to visit neurologist detail history , past history ,and examination needed. You also require blood sugar, lipid profile test.Depending on it treatment planned.MRI cervical spine reveal cervical muscle spasm. All these reports are minor ,you need not very.Everything is treatable. For muscle spasm you need muscle relaxants, and pain killers for a week.Do neck relaxation exercise

hi welcome,
regards the brain mri not significant changes seen.
in cervical spine, cervical lordosis means the technical term for the curvature of vertebra is reversed, means almost it may straightened.
due to this abnormal situation muscular spasm is seen and you may suffering from pain over neck region which is radiating through back of head.
the straightening may be due to spondylitis it may also ankylosing spondylitis .
for your better recovery than pain killers and antiinflammatory drugs you approach an ayurvedic doctor and take treatment
