What Does Negative Strep Test Indicate?
My throat is extermely sore, I feel like there are bumps through out my throat. I have a slight fever and feeling ran down. I went to the dr today he said my throat was red but didnt take to much time to find bumps. My strep test came back negative. What does this sound like?

There are many other bacteria other than streps that can cause pharyngitis.
So still you have granular pharyngitis and need antibiotic cover and other supportive medicines for at least 5 days , and to continue if thought by your Treating Doctor.
Go for liquid / soft bland diet, plenty of oral fluids and bed-rest till you feel alright.
