What Does Posttraumatic Hematoma In Ultrasound Report Mean?
i had a ultra sound on upper left arm.the finding/results says it was a posttraumatic hematoma, since then my arm(left)is beginning to swelling.there is no vascularity and the collection is cleary seperate from the brachial artery.can you break that down in layman terms.
According to the reports there is localized collection of blood (hematoma)in left arm resulting from trauma. It is clearly separated from the brachial artery. There is no vascularity within the collection. You shouldn't worry. It will be resolved after some time if it is small in size. Hope i have answered your query.
