hi i am 29 yrs female wt 67 kg and height 154 cm having back pain and numbness in food and pain in toe finding uncomfortable to walk. my mri report says left paracentral disc extrusion at L4-L5 level/ inferior migration of extruded disc behind L5 verterbral body on left side with impingement on L5 traversing nerve root sequestrated disc and minimal disc bulge at L3-L4 and L5-S1 level. doctors suggesting surgery . is there any remedy other than surgery
After going through your query I think you are suffering from lumbar disc prolapse. There are two treatment options.First option is Rest in position of relief(generally lateral position with both knee bend),NUROKIND GOLD ONCE DAILY and analgesics (Diclofenac three times a day after meals is effective). Sometimes strong analgesic(such as ultracet three times a day after meals) is required. OMEPRAZOLE before meals prevent acidity caused by analgesics . This method needs patience as it take longer treatment times sometimes up to 6 months.Second option is go for surgical operation(Discectomy) .You are not willing surgery so can choose first option. You can discuss with your treating surgeon.I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query
