What Does Single Uterine Gestational Sac With Absent Cardiac Activity Mean?

Hai, I am scanned today and the pelvic ultra sound report reads as here under-IMPRESSION:Single intrauterine gestational sac with gestational age of 5 weeks with absent cardiac activity- Suggestive of missed abortion.Please tell me what should I do now, Do I still have hopes to get a child.

I am sorry to hear about your recent ultrasound. Unfortunately your ultrasound shows that you are no longer pregnant. At this time you do not need to do anything. Your body will go through a regular period and that will be all. If you do start having severe pain or vaginal bleeding then I recommend that you seek medical attention.

Again I am sorry to see that you have lost the baby. You should follow this up with a visit to your doctor to better explain your results and where to go from here.
