hi im a 39 years old i had a mri done on my L hip thay found a 2.5mm cyst on my R ovary on 8/12 then i had a nother mri on my lower back on8/18 and it grue to 3.5 we did a us pelvis w/endovag and it grew to4.4cm complex hypoechoic cyst with internal sepations what to expect
1.The possible cause of the changes in the MRI, ultrasound. Cyst with complex changes, with gradual increase in size. 2.The complex cyst may turn in to malignant changes and cause ovarian malignancy / cancer. 3.Depending on the reproductive status - initially hormonal treatment followed by operative procedure. 4.Ovary sparing operation can be done if reproductive status. 5.Suggest followup after the procedure.
