What Does The MRI Report Done For My Back Indicate?
what does it mean and how serious are the following (based on MRI and X-Ray I did for my backI need: L2-3 annular disc bulge indenting and elevating the interior spinal ligament L4-5 right para-central disc herniation compressing the interior the-cal sac but no nerve roots compression could be seen
There is degeneration of lumbar spine disc between L 2 - L 3 and L 4 - L 5. This is resulting in the disc herniating between the bones. The nerve roots pass through these neural foramina and you do not have any nerve root compression at that level. The nerve pain if present may be controlled with restricted physical activity and pain relief medication. Please do not do heavy physical activity till you are comfortable.
