Once an MRI is done and report made, whose responsibility is it to follow through? Three years now, and MRI s get held in files with no follow through or suggestions.

Radiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Without complete medical history it is difficult to say if the above mentioned white area along the vaginal cuff on right side is the colon, urinary bladder or mesh inserted in an earlier surgery.

It needs to be discussed with your surgeon and if necessary the radiologist must discuss with your surgeon concerning the MRI findings and your symptoms.
