- Hyperdense area measures approximately 80 mm x 57 mm x 53 mm is seen in right parietal lobe p/o bleed with perilesional edema & mass effect - There is mid line shift to left with effacement and herniation of right lateral ventricle - Intraventricular bleed is seen in lateral, third and fourth ventricles - Cerebral sulci, sylvian fissure, basal cisterns appear normal - Pons and midbrain show no abnormality - Bone window settings reveal no abnormality - Ethmoid sinuses are opaque
According to CT Scan report there is large hyperdense lesion(measuring 80 mm x 57 mm x 53 mm) in right parietal region,it is suggestive of intracranial hemorrhage with perilesional edema & mass effect.Mass effect is seen in the form of mid line shift to left with effacement and herniation of right lateral ventricle. Intraventricular bleed is seen in lateral,third and fourth ventricles.

Hello Thanks for writing to HCM According to CT Scan report there is large hyperdense lesion(measuring 80 mm x 57 mm x 53 mm) in right parietal region,it is suggestive of intracranial hemorrhage with perilesional edema & mass effect.Mass effect is seen in the form of mid line shift to left with effacement and herniation of right lateral ventricle. Intraventricular bleed is seen in lateral,third and fourth ventricles. Ethmoid sinuses are opaque,it is due to mucosal thickening in chronic sinusitis. Rest of the findings are within normal limit.
