My MRI report diagnosis is as follows loss of cervical lordosis with spondylosis at all disc levels
From C3-4 to C6-7, diffuse disc bulges and central disc herniations with osteophytes cause mild cord indentation and bilateral foraminal narrowing. The right exiting nerve root at C5-6 and left exiting nerve root at C6-7 are displaced No cord alteration is seen
I would appreciate knowing what exactly this report indicates
welcome to Health care magic. 1.Your report says presence of degenerative changes. ( could be age related or excessive usage - heavy work) 2.Loss of lordosis means due to pain / discomfort caused by nerve irritation the muscle gets constant contraction / stiff and makes the loss of normal curvature of the spine. 3.In the cervical region there is a disc herniation and causing mass effect on the nerve and chord. 4.The possible treatment is collar belt for a while with simple exercises followed by physiotherapy. 5.In case of severe symptoms and above things do not work - an operative / intervention is done as a last treatment of choice. Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
