after sonogram of sacral lump results show complex mass/collection 3.4x0.9x1.5cm with no inner vascularity but does have mildly increased surrounding vascularity and demonstrates posterior acoustic enhancement. can you please tell me what you think this is based on your experience. there are also swollen lymph nodes in neck and spots in field of vision all the time.
Such a lump in sacral region as described might first have to be evaluated for an infection, acute or chronic in onset. The swollen lymph nodes might indicate reactive lymphadenopathy. Pathological diagnosis is most important iand if the lesion is at a favorable location, excisional biopsy is advised if it does not respond to treatment. The visual defects may need evaluation and ophthalmology consultation.
