What Does Urine Analysis Result Mean?

Albumin: Present ++,
Pus cells: Present 10-12,
Epithelial cells : Present 18-20,
Red blood cells : Present3-4 and
Bacteria: present +
All above mentioned examinations are present in urine as per my urine report, I am 17th Week pregnant. Can you please elaborate what does the above parameters indicate?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You are suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI).
This is indicated by presence of pus cells,epithelial cells,bacteria,albumin in urine.
UTI is not good for pregnancy.So,you need medical attention immediately.
Presence of albumin in pregnancy also need further evaluation.It is important to rule out other conditions besides UTI.
You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Random blood sugar,Renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed.
At present you need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report.
