What Is Causing Bleeding After Fitted Copper IUD?
I had a copper IUD fitted 6 weeks ago, I had bleeding for about 2 weeks afterwards and I guess I should have a normal period around now but so far nothing - I can feel the strings and am getting some clear discharge, at what point should I worry if I don't get a normal period?

Hi,
If you are not getting periods for 2 or 3 subsequent months then you can consult your gynecologist once. During initial periods after IUD there will be amenorrhea or irregular periods. It will subside in it's own after few months.
