I get colonoscopy report and my Dr. write me the description of anus a hypertrophied anal papilla.
My age 75 years My height 5 feet My weght 148 Lb
and Dr. find some colonic polips, Melanosis col, and Anal skin tag (woody). So I don't know what is hypertrophied anal papilla.

It is the part of anal canal and hypertrophy indicate exposure to harsh stools like in constipation. Polyps and skin tags with papillary hypertrophy at age of 75 needs conservative management and constant monitoring say annual colonoscopy to be out of the woods.
