What Is Meant By Enlarged Liver And Renal Parenchymal Changes?

my mother has been diagnosed with Acute renal failure, infection, severe gastritis.
She is a diabetic since 19 years and was on insulin since 5 yrs.
Creatiine is 2.0mg/dl. Since 2 weeks value was in the range of 2.2 to 1.4 mg/dl.
Ultrasound showed enlarged liver and renal parenchymal changes.
How severe is the renal failure

Hello,

Due to prolonged diabetes renal changes are usual but creatinine seems fine. Although, not absolutely normal and take care of diabetes.
