What Is The Best Treatment For Large Bruise With Bump On Wrist That Causes Sharp Pain In The Arm ?
About five days ago I slammed my wrist in a door with two people's body weight against it. I am able to use my hand and a large bruise formed along with a lump the size and feel of a marble. The pain is no longer constant but I am getting sharp and random pains through my arm, mostly at my elbow and shoulder. Sometimes my hand gets cold, and the more I use it throughout the day the bruise gets darker and the swelling increases. Im worried there may be a clot since blood clots run in my family, and im not sure what the best method of treatment is.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be ganglion, a projection of the synovial membrane of the wrist joint. As it is due to the injury there may be a microbleeding, causing the color change. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. you may need to have the M.R.I. of the the wrist. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and Protein rich foods to hasten the recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
