What Is The High Fever After A Sprained Ankle?
My daughter sprained her ankle twice in the past 2 weeks. Since she sprained her ankle on Wednesday, she started running a fever. She has no other symptoms. Her fever has been as high as 103. The nurse today Says she had a virus Could it be something else?

If the swelling at the ankle is not red-hot, the cause can be somewhere else. It can be very well be flu= But this will delay the healing.
Give her Paracetamol/ Ibuprofen 8 hourly ; will help for both problems.
A good crepe bandage and 3 weeks rest is a must.
