What does it mean that I have small disc bulge or protrusions at t5-6, t6-7, t7-8, t7-8 and t8-9. Also, multilevel mild degenerative change of the thoracic spine. My Nero -surgery would not explain. He just told me the good news was my back looked find. I know I an not having pain for no reason and can barely walk. I also have 2 aides to help in every day because I can barely stand, lose my balance etc. Please explain to me what all this mean cuz he would. Thank you very much as I await you reply. AAAAA
Disc bulge is the protrusion of inter vertebral disc from its normal position in any direction. Mainly it is associated with degenerative disease of spine due to weakness in annulus fibrosis .It may be due to trauma also. Due to protrusion from its original position ,it may compress nerve roots and this gives rise to pain.
