hi,i suffer from from extreme cold feet worse in the winter than summer. When i lie down in bed they automatically warm up and no problem for the night. During the day the only way to heat them up is the car heater or a fan heater under the computer desc. But they do not stay hot for long. I have been suffering mini strokes and i am on Efexor, xanax, ponston and lately i have been put on aspirin and lipitor. Thanks.
I think that you suffer from feet blood vessels disease(narrowing of blood vessels in feet). The causes of this disease are nonspecific. But there are some factors that favor the narrowing of blood vessels: - Permanent state of stress. - Passive lifestyle. - High glucose(blood sugar) level. - High cholesterol level.
To get the right treatment, first of all you need an exact diagnosis. To get the diagnosis you need the following tests: - Glucose test. - Lipid test, to check cholesterol, tryglicerdie, LDL(low density lipoprotein) and HDL(high density lipoprotein) levels. - Doppler ultrasound.
The results of the test will help your angiologist to determine the needed treatment.
I hope you find this helpful.
Regards. Dr. Behar.
