Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

We need to know more details before we can give you an answer that counts.
1. Do you have any regular medication?
2. Any neuroradioimaging done?
3. What medicines are you taking for the pains?
4. Any events of seizures?
5. Your age/gender?
6. Any associated prior medical issues like eg diabetes thyroid etc?

Now why do I ask these questions-
The fact remains that many medicines taken for migraine may cause memory loss or fogging as you said. However a job done during a headache or migraine may not be so well done, or done with full attention- thereby causing the fogging. Many conditions like thyroid also affect the retention capacity.

As you probably understand, the modality of treatment will change. So I request to give us the requested information.

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further. Best of luck.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.

Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.

Please feel free to ask another query. I would be glad to help you. Looking forward to your return query with the details asked so that I can help you further.
