What Is The Treatment For Headache And Depression?
15 year old grand daughter with history of seizures since 12, ovarian cysts, almost daily headaches, treated for depression, has had problems with legs getting weak since seizures. suddenly became worse and could not walk by herself. was in the hospital had MRI, blood test and emg. Could not find anything, so say it is depression. ordered physical therapy, and see her psych doctor. If she played sports, she would be exhausted the next day or two and miss school. We need to find out what is really wrong with her
I went through your details. Your daughter could be suffering from hypochondriasis induced somotoform disorder. Almost comes under OCD. Being obsessive about the thoughts of her seizures and related problems depresses her for long term and her mind slowly gets her body to respond as if she thinks. You should consult a psychiatrist and get proper diagnosis and treatment.
