What Is The Treatment For Knee Pain And Varicose Veins?

Hello doctor, im khadka im 43 years old i work as security guard here in macau,china. i duty 14hours a day my problem is that on my knee because its always on pain and sometimes i feel inflammation.i have also varicose veins on my leg.what can i do,i already seek a doctor advice but nothings happens at it still have pain and inflammation.i hope you can help me.thank you

Hi, The pain is probably due to a knee problem and you should get an XRay done for the same. The varicose veins problem is common in people who stand for prolonged periods, and therefore, it could be increased in you. If they are bothering you, you should get them operated or get laser therapy(Ablation) done for them. They can be problematic with dragging pain after instances of standing for long periods. Till you get them operated you should wear Compression stockings till above knee for the time you are on duty and Varicose veins will not increase. Take care.
