What Is The Way To Take Insulin For Type 2 Diabetics?

I am a type II deabetic and I am out of my meds until I see my doc for a blood test. He want to do and AWould I have to make much of an adjustment to my sliding scale to be sure that I didn't over orunder cover with meals and is there a site to which I can go for gudance re: insulin injections. It is humalog, by the way.

Dear sir i can understand your concern .
I am very happy you are this conscientious because having a well controlled blood sugar is very important in preventing the onset of diabetic complications.
In my opinion you need to be in touch with a doctor for stabilisation of your sugar.
sliding scale is a kind of method used in hospitals to stabilize your sugar,Its not for home practice.
kindly let me know what medications are you taking now.
the medication humalog will be effective only for 3-4 hrs only after that your sugars will increase.
in my opinion you need to take some thing called humalog mix 25/75 which will work for 12 hrs.
send me your fasting blood sugar,before lunch and before dinner blood sugar and what is your daily dose of insulin you are on now.
then i will adjust your dose.
