What Should One Do For Suffering From Short Spell?

Hello, I am 29, male, suffering from short spell, roughly 15 sec to 30 sec stomach pain which creates a sensation that I need to go to loo. But It all stops after that and its recurring. Even the bowel movement seems incomplete. Please help me. I got fever yesterday but now fever has subsided. Thank you. Krishna.

Hi Krishna,

The symptoms you are having are related to stomach bug.

I'd suggest to:

- drink more water
- take otc probiotics,
- take ibuprofen/acetaminophen for the fever and pain
- if you are also having constipation problems, please make sure to have more foods high in fiber and start senna and lactulose supplementation to soften and ease bowel movements
- take good hygienic measures especially after going to bathroom

If the symptoms will not resolve within a week, I suggest to consult your physician for further evaluation.

All the best!
