When Does The Aching In The Left Wrist Due To Cellulitis Go Away ?
Three weeks ago my husband contracted cellulitis in his left arm. He was hospitalized for 4 days and on antibiotics. He still has aching in his left wrist. How long does it take for the pain to go away?. He has also lost a lot of strength in that wrist.
Reflex sympathetic dystrophy is common after cellulitis which can lead to loss of strength. RDS needs prolonged multimodal treatment, Tryptomer, and calcium channel blockers will help you. Take them consulting your doctor.
You need to do physiotherapy exercises now to regain strength.
Many of my patients find relief with yoga, pranayama, meditation. So you can also do that to improve your treatment results.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care.
