When Will My Skin Turn Normal After Stopping Betnesol?

Hi, I am using Betnesol Forte on weekends (3tabs at a time) since 1year for Vitiligo problem.I am facing problems with Acne ,gaining weight ,hairfall and glowless skin.Two weeks onwards i stoped taking Betnesol.Can you suggest how long it takes to skin normal.

Hi,

Acne, glow-less skin, weight gain all are the possible side effects which happen in some individuals after taking this medication. I would suggest you to:
- Drink plenty of water
- Take multivitamins in diet
- Avoid sharp spicy food
- Wash face twice daily with benzoyl peroxide
- Avoid sun exposure

Your symptoms will resolve in 2-3 weeks. If symptoms keep persisting, visit dermatologist one and get complete examination done and start treatment as per that.
