Which One Is Advisable To Use Instead Of Euglucon, Zomelin Or Amaryl?
i am having diabetes for the last 25 years,At present I am taking Glucomet SR & Euglucon. Due to problems related Euglucon, I am considering replacing it with either Zomelis 50 or Amaryl 2mg. I am a 75yrs old person and request your advice whether it is better to use Zomelin or Amaryl

Zomelin is preferred. Both Euglucon and Amaryl belong to the same group (sulfonylurea) of anti-diabetic medicines and if used together there is a high risk of severe hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) which can be dangerous in elderly.
Hence Zomelin which belongs to different group can be taken along with Glucomet-SR.
