White Pus In Throat, Sore Throat. Earlier Had Cough. What Is It?
Hello Doctor I have noticed white pus like thing on the right side of the throat . It is now over a year and it is still there. Before this I use to have very bad cough for few months and now the cough is better than before only sometimes in a day or night I cough.But throat is always feels soar. Please let me know what is it I hope it is not cancer . Thank you.

This is likely a chronic tonsil infection or pharyngeal infection. You will likely need antibiotic treatment like augmentin or cephalexin. It is unlikely to be cancer. I would recommend you have this examined by your doctor as soon as possible. You may also need to check if you have acid reflux, it can be the cause of chronic throat irritation
