i have been taken klonopin for 2.5 years everyday. Today I went to get a refill and the dr gave me a urine test. The benzos did not show up in my urine. I swore to him that i take them. So he asked me if i wanted to send it to a lab for a nice fee of course. I really had no choice. THey claim the lab is 99.1% accurate. I really cannot understand why it did not show up in my urine. What would cause that. I took 2 yesterday around lunch. I was at the Dr today around 10.00am. I am sweating a whole lot. More like hot flashes. Its my age menopause. Please help
Thank you for your question. Klonopin is among a group of benzodiazepine medications that may not show up: Alprazolam (Xanax), clonazepam (Klonopin), temazepam (Restoril), and triazolam (Halcion) may not be detected in many of the common tests.
