I have been treated 4 times by an ENT. He continues to suction the fluid behind my eardrum. I am on a sturdier set of ear tubes. The fluid continues to build and I cannot equalize any pressure in my ears. Probably b/c of the insertions but why does the fluid continue to build?
You have not mentioned your age. Fluid in the ears, by your description, seems to me to be more of the glue ear kind than the usual chronic middle ear infection type. In case of a secretary otitis media in adults, a thorough evaluation of the nasopharyx has to be done to rule out more sinister causes. I am not trying to scare you here, and I am sure your ENT has considered that as well. You will have to provide more information about yourself and the nature and duration of this fluid problem for me to make any further inferences.
