Why Fever Is Not Coming Down After 5 Days?
Hi, my son is 3 and 1/2 years old. He has fever for last 5 days and though we are giving ibuprofen it's not going down below 100. We already went to his pead but even she said it's viral fevel and it's normal and it'll go away withing 4-5 days.We are little bit worried about the fever.

As 5 days passed and still fever is there, it requires some investigations like complete blood checking, urine examination to know the cause of fever.
There might be having some bacterial infection and might require antibiotic medicine course.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
